search engine is new (hopefully it will work) and so is the email link at the
bottom.

The children are doing great.  Daniel is loving school (so would I if I got to
go on a field trip every Thursday).  He's on to another girlfriend now.  This
one he tells me that he is going to take out on a date to a bar.  Go figure.
He cracks me up.

About a month ago I decided to take him off all of his medication except
for heartburn.  The neurologist agreed and he seems to be doing great.  It
has been over 3 years since his last seizure, his behavior is good and he
is maintaining.  His speech appears to be clearer and he tries to
annunciate more; I contribute this to him being med free.  However his
language, at times, can make a sailor blush.  It aggravates me most
times, but I thank God that he can still be vocal.

Kairstin is doing great in bowling.  She now bowls on Thursdays; the
league name is Thursday Night Teens.  Her scores have improved since
she is with 12 and older.  Last month she joined the Youth Leaders
program.  She helps out at tournaments and where ever else they need
her.  She likes it; she's making more friends.

School is going good for her.  Her report card had A's, B's and C's.  She
is a teacher helper this year.  She goes before school starts and stays
after to help out.  It is considered a job and the reward is a field trip to
Islands of Adventure at the end of the year.  She met the required hours
within the first three weeks.  She is also in chorus again.  Practice for that
is Thursday mornings.  I'm thankful that she doesn't have the "I hate
mornings" gene.  She can be grumpy but she does get up and get going.
And as if that wasn't enough to keep her busy, we signed her up for
cheerleading.  She will be cheering for First Baptist Church of Orange
Park.  Practice starts in a week and her first game will be in January.

And now the update on TROUBLE a.k.a. Wil.  He's doing fair in school.
He isn't liking it much but he's trying to hang in there.  His report card had
a mixture of letters.  He isn't as busy as K; except staying busy playing
with his friends.  I gave my permission to sell our pool so that he could
build a mini skate park in the backyard.  It might be a while before this
happens since he is recycling cans to fund the project.

In January he will earn the Arrow of Light award; this is the highest award
given in Cubscouts.  In March, after serving 5 years, he will graduate from
Cubscouts and move into Boyscouts.  He may change his mind on
Boyscouts, he goes back and forth.  He likes the idea of cave diving and
camping near alligators.  So we will see.

Now that hunting season has started he goes away most weekends with
Papa Bill.  Dad has joined them on a few weekends; not as many as he
would like to though.  After the season ends he will start flag football.  The
good thing about the program I put him into is that practice is held one
hour before the games and the games are on Saturdays.  This will help
my weekday schedule.

In closing, I wish each of you a safe and wonderful holiday season.
Enjoy the pictures.

Love and peace from the Brannen's.
